Trina Barlow is a highly regarded veteran of
the advertising industry with a unique expertise in social entrepreneurism.
Having provided every level of service to clients in markets across the
country, she is well versed in the heavy lifting associated with building and
strengthening great brands. Her skills have kept ready pace with the evolution
of technology, making her equally adept at managing social media campaigns and
integrated press runs.
She is the founding Marketing Director for Open
Arms, a triple-bottom-line company that provided meaningful work, a living
wage, ESL classes, family-friendly hours and health care coverage for refugee
women given sanctuary in America after fleeing their war torn homelands.
Present from the company’s founding as a shoestring startup to contracts with
Whole Foods and IKEA, Trina was the primary driver behind brand development,
marketing initiatives and all aspects of promotion in traditional and social
media.
Definitely the left brain of Overflow
Communications, she focuses on implementation: driving consensus on goals,
identifying obstacles, and keeping our company and clients on track for timely,
impactful campaigns.
A graduate of Marquette University and mother
of three, she is active with the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas as a
Woman of Courage.
